What a wonderful summer 2010 has been in Nova Scotia.
Just finished, the annual Nova Scotia Schooner Association (NSSA) race week
held at the Lunenburg Yacht Club.

New Westergard schooner, Kitty Cochrane, took home some nice silverware.

The twin schooner project remains on hiatus,
but the past winters progress can be reviewed at
twinschooners.blogspot.com.




There are still plenty of hackmatack knees available from last winters harvest.
There are many uses for knees from wooden boat construction
to architectural/structural elements for timber-frame construction.
We would consider planking for knee trades as well.
